Last Friday, 4th of October, Lucy Davison celebrated her birthday with a hattrick to open the senior girls football season in their first cup match at home playing Hartstown CS.
In the first half, Donabate got an early lead by a goal from Lucy Davison in the 3rd minute, followed by numerous goals from Kirsten D Brunty and Roz Deering.
Substitutions were made in the second half and DCC maintained their lead with the help from Abi Fogarty making some great saves. More goals came from Andrea Connolly, Kara Clifford and an impressive goal from outside the box by Georgia Hall before the final whistle.
Well done to the girls and a great way to kick off the season. We wish them the best of luck in their next fixture against Castleknock
