Athletics Opens DCC’s Extra-Curricular Activities!

Well done to DCC athletics on competing in their first event of the year last Wednesday in the beautiful surrounds of Newbridge House.  Over 60 students represented the school in the relay event.  A particular well done to first year students who participated in their very first DCC extra-curricular activity!

Well done to the Senior Girls team of Michelle, Jessica, Ellen and Grace, who finished second in their event while the Senior Boys finished in the top five.

Many thanks to Swords Community College and Fingal County Council for their support in the running of the event.

Thanks to all our volunteers who helped facilitate the event and particular thanks has to go to Dr Cooke for all his work.
