Our Parents’ Council held their AGM on Wednesday evening 6th March.
The guest speaker David Creed of Planet Youth delivered a summary presentation of the findings from the most recent youth survey in the North Council Dublin region. An engaging discussion relating to the data presented, how it might be interrupted, the issues which were of importance to parents/guardians linked to the data and wider policy formation, ensued.
New members to the Parent Council were welcomed by the Chairperson Mrs. Sonia Francis.
This evening was Sonia’s final event as Chair of the Parent Council after a long and active tenure. Over her years of membership, Sonia has been a champion of parent voice, giving us a real sense of what was important to parents/guardians. She has been a source of advice and wisdom to us. Our most sincere thank you to Sonia for her energy and hard work behind the scenes in the interest of our parents/guardians.
